On February 1, 2024, the President of Russia visited the 2nd Congress of the All-Russian Movement of Children and Youth “Movement of the First” and noted its achievements. // 1 февраля 2024 года Президент России посетил II съезд Общероссийского движения детей и молодежи «Движение первых» и отметил его достижения.
The “Movement of the First” was formed in 2022 on the initiative of children and with the support of the President. In a short period of time, almost 5 million people have already become participants. // «Движение первых» образовалось в 2022 году по инициативе детей и при поддержке Президента. За короткий срок его участниками стали уже почти 5 миллионов человек.
The Head of State thanked the guys for the huge successes and achievements of the “Movement of the First” over the past year: planting two million trees, moral support for fighters on the front line and collecting more than 400,000 books for their peers in Donbass and Novorossiya. // Глава государства поблагодарил ребят за огромные успехи и достижения «Движения первых» за последний год: высадку двух миллионов деревьев, моральную поддержку бойцов на передовой и сбор более 400,000 книг для своих сверстников в Донбасс и Новороссию.
Putin: “You have just met at VDNH (ENEA), at “Russia” exhibition. We wanted to show here what our country has done in the last few years, in the last 10, 15, 20 years. And we have something to be proud of. But here’s what’s interesting: what is presented here was once someone’s dream. You know, I remember postcards from the beginning of the last century in the Far East, in Vladivostok. It depicts the bridge that people dreamed of, they dreamed that it would one day be. And it was at the very beginning of the last century. Today there is this bridge, we built it, and another one, even bigger than the one that people dreamed of, and many more achievements that they could not even dream of at the time.
“I am sure that if you feel as purposeful, confident, go towards your goal, realize your dream, we will succeed even more,” – the President noted.
Путин: “Вы сейчас встретились на ВДНХ, на выставке «Россия». Мы хотели здесь показать, что сделано нашей страной за последние несколько лет, за последние 10, 15, 20 лет. И нам есть чем гордиться. Но вот что интересно: то, что здесь представлено, было когда-то чьей-то мечтой. Вы знаете, я вспоминаю почтовые открытки начала прошлого века на Дальнем Востоке, во Владивостоке. Там изображён мост, о котором люди мечтали, они мечтали, что он когда-то будет. И это было в самом начале прошлого века. Сегодня есть и этот мост, мы его построили, и ещё один, ещё больше, чем тот, о котором люди мечтали, и ещё много достижений, о чём даже и мечтать в своё время не могли”. Я уверен, что если вы будете так же целенаправленно, уверенно чувствовать себя, идти к своей цели, осуществлять свою мечту, у нас получится еще больше”.
