In July, 10 — 20, 2021, the Yekaterinburg Metropolis hosted the main events of the Tsar’s Days* dedicated to the 103rd anniversary* of the memory of the holy Royal Passion-bearers* who ended their days in Yekaterinburg in July 1918. // С 10 по 20 июля 2021 года в Екатеринбургской митрополии прошли основные мероприятия Царских дней*, посвященных 103-летию памяти* святых Царственных страстотерпцев*, завершивших свои дни в Екатеринбурге в июле 1918 года.

Traditionally, the Tsar’s Days are held in the region. They symbolize the unity of the Russian people in their understanding of the history of the Father-land*, the return of the bright name of the sovereign-emperor* and his family. In recent years, it has also been one of the main international events for the entire Sverdlovsk region.

Did you know that the whole Royal Family was killed in Ekaterinburg (named Sverdlovsk in USSR times) on night 16–17 July 1918?

The main program of Tsar’s Days in Yekaterinburg included meetings with interesting people, conversations about the veneration of the Tsar-Martyr* in Russia and abroad. The main event was traditionally represented by the night Divine Liturgy* in front of the Church on the Blood*.

During the Imperial Days, the traditional exhibition-forum “From Repentance* to the Resurrection* of Russia” took place. A scientific educational conference “Modern Russia – the heiress* of the exploits* of Alexander Nevsky” was well organized.

The culmination of the events of the Tsar’s Days was the traditional procession when faithful* passed 21 kilometers along the route that repeats the last path of the executed* members of the Romanov family and their servants.

For many guests, the visit to the Urals left an indelible* mark in their souls, and a series of memorable events really became unifying for the Russian people and the entire Orthodox Church.

В основную программу Царских дней в Екатеринбурге были включены встречи с интересными людьми, беседы о почитании Царя-Мученика* в России и за рубежом. Главным событием традиционно стала ночная Божественная литургия* на площадке перед Храмом на Крови*.

В Царские дни прошла традиционная выставка-форум «От покаяния* к Воскресению* России». Была проведена научно-просветительская конференция «Современная Россия – наследница* подвигов* святого князя Александра Невского».

Кульминацией мероприятий Царских дней стал традиционный крестный ход, когда верующие* прошли 21 километр по маршруту, повторяющему последний путь расстрелянных членов семьи Романовых и их подданых.

Для многих гостей посещение Урала оставило в их душах неизгладимый* след, а череда памятных событий действительно стала объединяющей для русского народа и всей Православной Церкви. ■
