But the ship also went through a humiliating period of oblivion<\/b>, and then revived to serve the Baltic Fleet and defend the Fatherland. It was twice presented with guards banners<\/b>, and it was renamed three times. Its story began with the laying of the ship on Friday, October 1, 1983. It is interesting that four 47-mm guns were installed on the deck of the Shtandart. In reality they were generally designed for solemn salutes, but not for the defense of the ship. The sides of the imperial yacht were carefully covered with black carriage lacquer, and a gold stripe was drawn just above the waterline. The ship\u2019s rooms were carefully finished<\/b> with valuable, generously decorated with gilded bronze and wood species, multi-colored embossed leather<\/b>. The centre of the ship was assigned to the imperial chambers \u2013 a huge living room, a spacious royal office, a bedroom, a bathroom. Nearby there were the queen\u2019s lavish<\/b> apartments. The Shtandart, always ready to march, was<\/b> constantly anchored<\/b> in the Kronstadt roadstead<\/b>. It was served by commanders and officers from the guards crew, whose candidates were approved by the tsar himself. As a rule, these were sailors who had some experience of service on other ships and who had been in combat operations<\/b>. Members of the royal family regularly traveled on the Shtandart across the Baltic and Black Seas and paid official visits to the heads of other states. Each summer, the tsar with his family and <\/span>retinue<\/b> spent time sailing, exploring the <\/span>picturesque bays <\/b>and islands.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1912 \u201cShtandart\u201d was sent to the Franco-Russian plant for overhaul<\/b>. But the Tsar did not have a chance to sail on the repaired yacht. Six years later, the yacht was renamed, receiving the name \u201c18 March\u201d. And on January 22, 1934, the commander of the Baltic Sea Forces M.L. Haller gave the order to rename \u201cStandart\u201d to \u201cMarty\u201d.<\/p>\n

The winter of 1941 was harsh and full of trials<\/b> for the Marty crew. Reflecting attacks from enemy aircraft, his team shot down 6 enemy aircraft. 117 sailors, foremen<\/b> and officers were honored military awards.
